A Balinese Keris Klungkung, with 19th century blade.

The Keris with a straight hand forged Wilah (blade), consists of Pamor steel forged in different layers of iron (pattern type: ‘Tambal’). Dapur in ‘Tilam Upih’ shape. Gilded Mendak (cuff) of ‘Wewer’ type with cabochons, between hilt and blade. Ukiran (Keris hilt) in abstract ‘Bebondollan’ shape, and carved from Klungkung wood. Fine old Warangka (sheath) of ‘Batun Poh’ type (‘kidney’ shaped). Warangka and Gandar (body) both made from Pelet Ceplok wood, patiently carved by hand.

Length of the blade, including ‘Pesi’ (tang of the blade): 45.5 cm. (1x)
