A Balinese Keris, with early 20th century blade.

The Keris with a hand forged ’11 Luk’ waved Wilah (blade), consists of Pamor steel forged in different layers of iron (pattern type: ‘Aiq Nglek’). Dapur in unique ‘Cherita Lar Ngatap’ (= Elephant trunk shape). ‘Ganja Wilut’ and ‘Kembang Kacang Pugot’. Copper Mendak (cuff) of Javanese type, between hilt and blade. Ukiran (Keris hilt) in abstract ‘Bebondollan’ shape, and carved from Pelet Mbelang Sapi wood. The Warangka (sheath) of ‘Batun Poh’ type (‘kidney’ shaped). Warangka and Gandar (body) both made from Purnama wood, patiently carved by hand.
