A Javanese Keris Patrem, with 19th century blade.

Asal (origin): Madura

The Keris with a hand forged ‘3 Luk’ waved Wilah (blade), consists of Pamor steel forged in different layers of iron (pattern type: ‘Melati Rinonce’). Dapur in ‘Pedang’ shape. Wilah with. Small brass cuff (Mendak), between hilt and blade. Keris hilt (‘Ukiran’) in ‘Naga (dragon shaped)’ Style and carved in painted wood. The Warangka (sheath) and Gandar (body) both made from wood and patiently carved by hand with snake motive.

Total length of the blade, including the tang (pesi): 17 cm.
