A very large Chinese Imari teapot
China, Kangxi period (1662-1722)
Of rounded form with S-shaped spout and C-shaped handle, the body with eight lobed panels moulded in the shaped of lotus petals, decorated in underglaze blue and overglaze enamel and gold, depicting vases with plants and flowers, floral motifs and geometric patterns, the lobed domed cover set with a knob finial.
