A West Javanese Keris, with 19th-20th century blade.

The Keris with a hand forged ‘11 Luk’ waved Wilah (blade), consists of Pamor steel forged in different layers of iron (pattern type: ‘Beras Wutah Tretep’). Dapur in reshaped ‘Cherita Prasojo’ (= Elephant trunk). Silver Mendak (cuff) of ‘Parijoto’ type, between hilt and blade. Ukiran (Keris hilt) in ‘Jejeran Yudo Winatan’ shape, and carved from Tayuman wood. Warangka (sheath) of ‘Ladrang’ type (‘boat’ shaped) in West Javanese Desa style and made from Cemara Gunung wood patiently carved by hand. Gandar (body) (body) with smooth silver plated Pendok (cover), silver plated Button decorated with ‘Lung Lungan’ pattern.
