An East Javanese Keris Sumenep.

Umur (age): Kamardikan.

Asal (origin): Madura Aeng Tong-Tong.

The Keris with a hand forged ‘11 Luk’ waved Wilah (blade), consists of Pamor steel forged in different layers of iron (pattern type: ‘Sanak’). Dapur in ‘Singa Barong’ shaped and raised with brass. Gilded Mendak (cuff) of ‘Kendit’ type, between hilt and blade. Ukiran (Keris hilt) in ‘Donoriko’ shape, and carved from wood. Warangka (sheath) of ‘Udang Sumenep’ type, in Madura style and in the shape of a bird with floral decoration. Warangka and Gandar (body) patiently carved by hand from painted wood.
