Notes: Although founded in 1853, Hutchinson did not begin bicycle tire production until 1890. This figure by Mich became a trademark for the brand, being used in their advertisements for many years. ‘MICH’ as he signed his posters was a prolific poster artist toward the end of the Golden Age of Posters. Most of his posters had “characters” in the advertising action. His posters are most easily recognized because of the inclusion of these characters
